The Need for Care… In our own Backyard

The need for healthcare equity is a prevalent concern affecting the poor, uneducated and the marginalized. The Trans-Atlantic Medical Relief Foundation has been focused on promoting outreach to those that find access to healthcare services inaccessible. The promotion of healthcare equity has developed in many forms. The advent of health fairs offers those who need access an opportunity to Register for free health services.

Our community is clear. Whether it’s the New Yorkers who lack the basic necessities or immigrants arriving from other parts of the world affected by war, poverty and/or famine, TAMRF has and will continue to meet the basic healthcare needs of those that need it most.

When

Monthly arranged event (purposefully organized to maximally promote attendance) is coordinated by TAMRF and venue administrators. A multispecialty group of providers focuses on the abovementioned objectives. Documentation is taken and reviewed to determine what type of follow-up is needed. Contact information (whether telephone, email, church administrators) is obtained for follow-up.
